Elon

This young Bandit doesn't actually want to be a thief - he wants to be a melon farmer instead! Elon's village doesn't respect that though and is planning to publicly execute him. If Mario were to visit that Bandit village in an old-school Paper Mario game, the other residents of the village would make Elon join the party so he would go fight the area's boss, thinking that he would die there anyway. Mario and his partners would come out victorious, proving the village wrong and making them more accepting of residents who want to lead a different lifestyle. Later on in that theoretical Paper Mario game, Elon would actually learn a move that can steal items, but it would be done against his will by sentient watermelons that he planted down to damage enemies.
