Meta Knight - The Lone(ly) Swordsman

In case your eyes were never blessed with his beauty and your ears never heard of his glory, Meta Knight is a fan-favorite character from the Kirby series, who made his debut on March 23rd 1993, upon the release of Kirby's Adventure on the Famicom, later released worldwide on the NES. He's an oversized blueberry in armor who's very skilled at swordfighting, plays the violin sometimes, secretly likes sweets and has a cute Kirby face.

I saw MK for the first time when watching "My _ Guesses Smash Bros. Characters" videos on YouTube in 2016, but I barely knew anything about him until a fateful day in 2018, around April or May... I had to stay at home for a week because I was sick, and I was super bored. Even YouTube videos didn't entertain me! Then I clicked on ConnerTheWaffle's Kirby Right Back at Ya video, watched a minute or two of the video and looked up the first episode of the show on Dailymotion. When I first heard Meta Knight's sexy accent in Kirby Right Back at Ya (yes, I was watching the 4Kids dub), I started jokingly fangirling over him, kind of like I did before with Waluigi. But as I binged more of the show, It started getting more serious. However, I didn't openly talk about my interest in Kirby, because I was embarrassed of it for some reason. On November 10 2019, finally I told my mom about Kirby Right Back at Ya and who that mysterious "character I don't want to talk about" (or as we nicknamed him, "Posatć") really is. As I expected, she was very supportive of my interests and I started opening more and more about my love for Kirby ever since. Now I have Kirby pins on my bag, take at least one of my custom Kirby plushes everywhere I go, proudly display Kirby Nendoroids in my room, draw Kirby characters all the time and I'm not scared of saying Kirby's name!

My Dedication to Meta Knight (WIP)

Since 2018, I have drawn MK a lot and made a wide variety of custom Meta Knight-themed crafts. Here is a collection of my most notable displays and artwork:

My Physical Shrine

Physical Meta Knight Shrine

Before I started collecting Kirby Nendoroids, this shrine was made up entirely of custom figures, painted rocks and blueberry-themed packaging. Then I got my MK Nendoroid and put him right in the center, ruining the hardcore craft purism out of it all. There isn't a lot of space left on this shelf, so I won't expand the shrine too much while I still have to share a medium-sized room with my sister inside the Pole cage that is our apartament.

More things coming soon!
