Rainberry

Ever since this website started to take shape in April 2023, Rainberry was the mascot. Before that, I used her as an avatar across my whole internet presence. Now you can learn more about her!

Age: 250 (at least if we assume my weird Kirby headcanon about puffball lifespans being a 1000 years long is true)
Height: 6 inches (15 cm), like most other puffballs

More Info: Rainberry is a polite, easy-going juniper berry who has an interest in fashion and loves playing dress-up. When she was little, she really wanted to be a knight because she thought their armor looked really cool. When she actually pursued knighthood, the puff realized it isn't really her thing, but kept going for a while anyway. One day though, she started getting into fashion. Rainberry decided that she would enjoy it a lot more, so she escaped from her home in the cold mountains to a tropical island, turned her sword into sewing needles at a blacksmith and started her new life as a seamstress. She says she loves adventure, but she's actually talking about short, safe trips where she doesn't get harmed nor deals harm herself instead of a true journey. Rainberry is a pacifist who refuses to fight in any situation, despite having mighty waterbending powers. She absolutely loves rain, because she finds it calming and refreshing. It's also the only time she's able to use her water powers to make pretty water sculptures and play around with them. Rainberry can summon rain herself too, but in exchange for the inability to use her other powers.

Trivia:

This character actually comes from a dream of mine! I had this dream about going to a weird Jake and Logan Paul influencer beach party and trying to turn it into an Animal Jam convention. In the middle of it, I saw a puffball running through the beach who basically looked like Meta Knight, but dressed exactly like I dressed at the time. I liked that little puff so much, that I started using it as my avatar online in January 2020, around 1 year and a half after the dream. When I was making my first plushie of her later that year, I ran out of purple for her feet, so I used cyan for her body and pink for her feet and she became her own character. Since then, I've made little tweaks to her design and this is where we are today!
I have made 2 plushies of this character (Old Plushies, Plushies 2023), and I currently take the newer one with me everywhere I go.
Her Polish name means "crazy girl" and comes from all the weird things I used to do (and still do to an extend to this day) with both of my plushies of this character.
The "Atem" part of her former name is just "Meta", but backwards.
I haven't shared what her countless outfits look like, but a good chunk of them are based on different bedsheets I've had over the years. It's extremely fitting for a character that originated from a dream, but it started out as a coincidence.
She has a hidden third eye. It opens when she's feeling very intense emotion or after she abruptly wakes up from a bad dream. One of her parents is a Waddle Doo, so it's possible that she got it from them somehow...
